Family Connections opened its doors in January 2002. Kate Whitney, the Director, is a qualified and experienced Nanny and has been working in the Childcare industry for 15 years. With a lot of hard work, an excellent team and good referrals Family Connections have become one of the leading Childcare recruitment agencies in the Midlands.

Due to the high standards of Family Connections, demand on the team increased so much that we opened another office in Worcestershire which is proving to be equally successful.

We offer help to families and carers alike whether it is a permanent, temporary, full- or part-time, daily or live-in position offered or sought. We deal with a whole host of childcare options including Nannies, Nursery Nurses, Housekeepers, Mothers' Helps, Babysitters and Children's Holiday Representatives. Family Connections also place Au Pairs throughout the UK and use reputable partner agencies overseas.

Meet all our candidates and interview them to a high standard.

Follow up all references, verbal and written. However we do advise our clients to speak to previous employers, for that extra peace of mind!

Visit you to find out the exact person you may have in mind – for full time positions.

Organise interviews between clients and candidates and send out the candidates’ details before hand, so you can have a browse through them before the interview.

Recommend that you see the candidates at least twice before making a decision.

Be the middle man. We are on hand to offer advice and negotiate any stumbling blocks that you may come across.

Supply employment contracts and advice on Income Tax and National Insurance (we also advise the Nanny to get business insurance for their car) once you have found the right Nanny.

Finally we are here to support both the client and candidate and respect the privacy and confidentiality of all parties.
